O.J. Simpson Speaks Out on Reports He Was Assaulted By Daughter
O.J. Simpson reacts to reports that his daughter physically assaulted him, saying the news is untrue and that the conflict was between his girlfriend and daughter only, says CBS affiliate WFOR-TV in Miami, Fl.
CBS 4 News caught up with Simpson outside of his home, where he told reporters his side of the story.
The previous reports allege that police arrived at Simpson’s Kendall home on Aug. 24 after getting an incomplete 911 emergency call made by his eldest daughter, Arnelle Simpson, 39.
A tabloid report says Arnelle allegedly pushed the former NFL star into a glass cupboard, reportedly over an argument she was having with Simpson’s girlfriend Christie Prody, in which Simpson took his girlfriend’s side. The argument was said to be over Arnelle’s anger with her father for not financially assisting her mother Marquerite, who is believed to work at Wal-Mart.
Simpson, who was reported to have suffered a cut to his head had bleeding from his mouth, told CBS 4 reporters, “Look at me, I look fine,” adding that it must be a “slow news day.”
